Training

Form 1 Fire is a Specialist Healthcare Fire Safety Education Organisation providing fire safety and evacuation education services to staff members employed in Public and Private Health Care facilities.

Staff Fire Safety education is conducted to comply with the appropriate Australian Standards i.e.:- AS4083 – 1997 Planning for Emergencies - Healthcare Facilities, the NSW Health Department Circular No: 2003 / 87Guidelines for Fire Safety Healthcare Facilities, relevant Nursing Home, Private Hospitals, Day Procedure Centres Acts and Regulations and the Aged Health Care Accreditation requirements.

Our trainers are NSW Health Department accredited and registered, Health Care Level 2 Fire Safety Managers and Educators.

Staff In-Service Fire Safety is presented as a course of 3 x 1 hour modules over a twelve month period, to ensure that each member of staff attends each phase of the program.

Form 1 Fire also provides Warden and Safety Awareness Training. Warden training is a requirement under AS3745-2202 for all workplaces. Fire Safety Awareness is a general session to cover all staff with their Emergency Procedures and Fire Fighting Equipment. Under the OHS Act all staff are to be familiar with their workplace and emergency procedures.
